Research Interests

Listed below are the key research topics that define my work, or the areas I am presently dedicating most of my attention to:

• Network Security;
• Security engineering;
• Security in IoT, mobile and cloud ecossystems;
• Malware proliferation, behaviour and detection;
• Robusteness of AI models and advesarial attacks;
• Security-by-Design and Security-by-Construction;
• Cryptography applications and cryptographic protocols;
• Simulation, monitoring, analysis and classification of network traffic;
• Design and development of algorithms for computer based simulation, namely of pseudo random number generators and of methods for synthesis of sequences with approximate self-similar structure.
