TEACHING

Since the academic year 2010/2011, Bruno has taught 50 curricular units, totaling 2996 contact hours (approximately 230/year), with around 1700 students (approximately 130/year). Between 2010/2011 and 2013/2014, while pursuing a Ph.D. at the University of Beira Interior, Bruno served as an Assistant/Monitor for practical sessions seven times. From 2017/2018 to 2020/2021, held the position of Assistant Professor at the Universidade Europeia, with a workload ranging from 8 to 10 hours per week. Additionally, in that period of time, Bruno was an Invited Assistant Professor at the University of Beira Interior, with a workload of 8 hours per week. The pedagogical project at Universidade Europeia, particularly at IADE – Faculdade de Design, Comunicação e Tecnologia, led the candidate to engage in more multidisciplinary areas such as mobile and web programming and game development. At the University of Beira Interior, the courses where he taught the most Curricular Units (CUs) were: 1) Bachelor's in Computer Engineering; 2) Master's in Computer Engineering; 3) Master's in Design and Development of Digital Games; and 4) Bachelor's in Web Informatics. Even with the expansion into new teaching areas, Bruno consistently maintained a coherent connection between their research areas and teaching domains, always striving to convey scientific knowledge in the classroom. His pedagogical focus is centered on two areas: 1) "Computer Networks," covering CUs in Computer Networks, Systems Administration, Internet Technologies, as well as Digital Systems and Computer Architectures; and 2) "Game, Web, and Mobile Development," encompassing CUs in Web Programming, Mobile Programming, Web Game Development, and Game Prototyping.
